In a reply to a Christian's
question about Jesus Christ's being Son of Allah, Brother Zakir Naik says
that one who
obeys Allah is His son, not by birth but by obedience. Naik calls himself,
too, Allah's son as he obeys Him. Thus all who obey Allah are, according
to Naik, His sons. Dr Zakir says :
" Adam, Israel,Isaac have been referred as Allah's
son in Bible but son is not referred to as begotten
son...... in Bible it is written whoever obeys Allah's
words is Allah's son, If you obey Allah's word, according
to Bible, you are also Allah's son. If I obey Allah's
word, I am also Allah's son, but in the Biblical way,
not in the begotten way"

Dear Readers ! Can you imagine? He always demands proof of Al Quran and Sahih Hadith . But he himself provides Only logic, logic and logic ! Only strange logic he provides in support of his own beliefs. He provides No Verse of Al Quran and no Hadith!
A Pro-Zakir Naik Institution, Central Mosque.com tried to defend zakir Naik on this issue saying : "There is no problem with is statement. It is obvious that Zakir Naik does not mean that they are biological sons of Allah Ta'ala, especially since himself says it. This is similar to how an authentic Hadith calls those who learn the Quran and practice upon it the family of Allah Ta'ala. (Ibn Majah, 1/78) Another Hadith states that all people are the family if Allah. (Al-Mujam al-Kabir, 10/86) "Sun, Jul 24, 2011 at 12:29 AM . When I asked them ,"can one call himself Allah's brother? Can a woman call herself Allah's wife? Can one call Allah Subhanahu Taala his /her father? Can one call himself Allah's nephew ? What is Islam's ruling?" (Sun, Jul 24, 2011 at 5:19 PM ), they maintained dead silence. If this standpoint is accepted, one may call allah Subhanahu Taala his brother because , as per Islam, each and every Mu'min is brother of one another and Allah's one name is Mumin, therefore would Zakiris call Him borther also ? Astagfirullah.
Even I approached Brother Naik himself and his IRF on this issue. When in response of my 16 questions to Zakir Naik, IRF briefed me that they "do not entertain queries on matters pertaining to Fiqh and Masaail, since our speciality is propagating Islam to non-Muslims i.e. matters pertaining to Islam and Comparative religion", I asked them :" In every issue against Ahle Sunnat Wa zamaat, you demand evidences from Quran and Sahih Hadith but you yourself present all your cases only with the help of logic and reason.' If' is your main weapon and with the word-game you try to befool the audiences who is in the darkness of Islamic theology. In a reply to a Christian's question you say, one who obeys Allah is His son, not by birth but by obedience. Naik calls himself Allah's son as he obeys Him. What is it? How can you dare to utter such dangerouswords? Which verse of Al quran or which Hadith can you preesnt as
evidence in support of your strange views? This is not the only case . In countless cases, you have uttered poisonous views, harmful for you own as well as the listners' Imaan." (Sent on Sun, Jul 17, 2011 at 9:43 PM ). But Zakir Naik and his IRF maintained dead silence.
Brothers & Sisters! Dr. Naik’s belief that he is the son of Allah is actually belief of the Jews and The Christians. This belief is absolutely against Islam.The Jews and The Christians too used to call themselves “ Allah’s sons” and Allah refuted them harshly. Almighty Allah says in Holy Quran Surah Al Maidah, Verse No. 18 says:

Dear Readers ! We urge Brother Zakir not to comment on sensitive issues, specially about Allah Subhanahu Taala. Loose talk on such issues may lead to the destruction of Imaan. We are slaves of Allah. we are Gulam of Allah. We are worshippers of Allah. Allah is our Absolute Malik. How can we engaze in such nasty talks ? May Allah guide us along Siratwal Mustaqeem.

18. And the Jews and Christians said We are sons of Allah and His
dear ones'. Say you; 'why then does He torment you for your sins'? But you
are human beings of His creations. He forgives whom He pleases. And to Allah
belongs the Kingdom of heavens and earth and all that is between them. And
towards Him is the return.

اور اس کے پیارے ہیں (ف۶۲) تم فرما دو پھر تمہیں کیوں تمہارے گناہوں پر عذاب فرماتا ہے (ف۶۳) بلکہ تم آدمی ہو اس کی
مخلوقات سے جسے چاہے بخشتا ہے اور جسے چاہے سزا دیتا ہے اور اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے سلطنت
آسمانوں اور زمین اور اُن کے درمیان کی اور اُسی کی طرف پھرنا ہے
